Miracles- A brain injury survivors guide to positive thinking
A little about myself. My name is Peter Lawryniuk. I am 44 years old and I live in Ontario Canada. When I was 7 years old, I was hit by a car while riding my bicycle and I was in a coma for 11 days. As a result, I have a brain injury. When I awoke from the coma, I needed to relearn everything over again, such as how to walk, talk, eat and use all my muscles again. I had a long tough journey during the years but I did it. I went to college for ECE, which means Early Childhood Education.
I sing three songs on YouTube that I wrote, “Miracles, Life is like a storm and Olivia”. I also wrote a book called, “ Miracles, my life’s Journey.” Growing up, my mother taught me to think positive in life.
Positive thinking is not always easy. It’s hard to think positive in life, especially when things are going good and then something bad happens.,like an accident or death in the family, being teased and bullied sometimes or you have a tough time learning in school or in work. You maybe having a bad day and nothing is going right. I’ve been there in all of these situations.
Please feel free to share your thoughts, whether positive or negative. If negative then we can try to turn that negative into a positive. I am not an expert or any professional. However, please consider me as a friend trying to help. Talking always helps
Thank you
Peter
